Your disk includes a Startup Files and a Templates folder. The Startup Files folder includes all of the necessary files to use Components A/R. The Templates folder includes additional reports you may wish to use, or modify.
If you will be using a Laserwriter for invoicing and statements, the Startup Files folder contains these reports. The invoice and statement can be modified to suit your needs.
If you will be using an Imagewriter for invoicing and statements, the Templates folder contains reports you may wish to use. You may first want to remove the Laserwriter Invoice and Laserwriter Statement from the Startup Files folder (simply drag the icons back to the Templates folder).
Next, drag the icons for the invoice or statement formats you wish from the Templates folder to your Startup Folder. The number on each of these icons refers to the Deluxe invoice or statement forms for which it was designed.
If you are using both a Laserwriter and an Imagewriter, be sure to check the Page Setup option from the File menu whenever you switch printers.
Finally, if you wish to use any other template, simply drag the icon from the Templates folder to your Startup folder. For example, if you business uses Sales Reps, you may wish to use some of the Sales Rep reports.
